Campaign #WarmthForUkraine
10 February 2026 12:05

This winter has become one of the hardest Ukrainians have endured since Russia’s full-scale invasion.

Russia is deliberately targeting power stations, heat-generation facilities — the systems that keep homes, hospitals, schools, and kindergartens warm in freezing temperatures.

During massive Russian attacks, residential buildings and energy infrastructure are being damaged across Ukraine. Russian strikes targeted Sumy, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Dnipro, Odesa, and Vinnytsia regions. The scale of destruction is enourmous as these facilities provide heating for more than 300,000 residents of Kyiv, as well as kindergartens, schools, and hospitals. Russia’s actions constitute an act of genocide against the civilian population and a gross violation of international humanitarian law, and that all those responsible for this crime must be held accountable.

You can help.

Join an international fundraising campaign to provide energy equipment for Ukraine. As Russia keeps attacking Ukraine’s energy system and temperatures are expected to drop again, your support can help bring warmth and light back to Ukrainian homes.  This initiative was launched by the MFA of Ukraine together with the Ukrainian World Congress. Donations will go toward generators and other essential energy equipment for communities, hospitals, schools, and critical infrastructure. Donate via Ukrainian World Congress
